Create an Aerie Contest, New Deadline!

Since I have achieved a grand total of one entry for this contest, I am going to delay the deadline. Hopefully I get some entries.

Create an Aerie!

What is an Aerie? The Aerie are humanoid creatures created through combining dragon and human DNA. This gives them wings, pointed ears, and dragon-like feet. Some examples (rather old drawings): ambyrfire.deviantart.com/art/C… - ambyrfire.deviantart.com/art/A…
What must you do for this contest? Your job is to design a member of the Aerie, using either traditional or digital media. You may keep the character you create after the contest is over, but you must credit me for the species.
Who can enter? Anyone who's interested!
Some backstory of the Aerie as a species; They were created with the idea of making a tougher, better drudge worker. However, the project was closed down after 30 years because of funding problems. The Aerie were then shipped over an enormous mountain range into an isolated medieval-style society and dumped there (apparently the government of the society where the Aerie were created has an out-of-sight-out-of-mind mentality).

Some Key Aerie Features
When you create your Aerie, you MUST include:
Four-"fingered" wings with a thumb claw and visible joints.
Three-toed dragon- like feet, with claws the same color as the thumb claw on the wing.
Pointed ears of reasonable length.

Your Aerie should also have a skin color within the human range. Hair & eye color, however, are completely up to you. The wings should be of a decent size, but they are dragon wings, so the color could be anything! Also keep in mind, when designing their costume, that they will be flying. A female Aerie will not be wearing a floor-length dress. Imagine all that fabric flapping around and disrupting aerodynamics! Other than that, your design is free to be whatever you want it to be!

Judging will be roughly 40% character & personality, 40% design, and 20% creativity of presentation, quality of art, and effort.
Entries should be either detailed lineart or neatly colored full-color pieces.
No nudity or overly revealing/"sexy" costumes, please. Your entry will not be included if these are there. I will accept up to medium levels of blood/gore, though.
You can enter as many times as you like. Create an entry for every day of the contest if the whim so takes you!
